| ANNOUNCEMENTS AS OF OCTOBER 14, 2024 Submit announcements & events to: [email protected] –Men, there is a sign-up list on the main bulletin board in the foyer for lawn care during the 2024 season. –Ladies, several volunteers are needed to prepare the bread and fruit of the vine for the Lord’s Supper throughout 2023. Please see the sign-up list on the ladies’ bulletin board in the hallway. –Singing Class meets after services each Sunday evening. Let’s enrich our singing worship to God by not only becoming better at singing our current songs but learn new songs as well! -Compassion Cards will be written and addressed following evening worship. See Don Deitrick for information on how to participate in this good work. ~~ ALL EVENTS ARE LISTED ON THE EVENTS CALENDAR ~~ ** EVENTS HAPPENING HERE AT CENTRAL ** -October 20: Lads to Leaders Presentation by John Podine at 9:45am in the auditorium. -October 24: Morning Ladies’ Class @ 10am in the multi-purpose room. The class will be studying “Intriguing Men of the Bible.” This is a multi-week class. -October 25: Pumpkin carving at the Anderson’s home from 7pm-9pm. See Chason or Elizabeth for more details. -October 27: Ladies Meeting following evening worship in the auditorium. -November 2: Winter Clothing Giveaway 9am-noon at the church building. Please ONLY bring in coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snow pants, and winter boots. No other winter clothing please. ***EVENTS HAPPENING AWAY FROM CENTRAL*** -October 19: Ladies Day at the Purcellville church of Christ with registration beginning at 9am.
