| ANNOUNCEMENTS AS OF NOVEMBER 19, 2024 Submit announcements & events to: [email protected] –Men, there is a sign-up list on the main bulletin board in the foyer for lawn care during the 2024 season. –Ladies, several volunteers are needed to prepare the bread and fruit of the vine for the Lord’s Supper throughout 2023. Please see the sign-up list on the ladies’ bulletin board in the hallway. –Singing Class meets after services each Sunday evening. Let’s enrich our singing worship to God by not only becoming better at singing our current songs but learn new songs as well! -Compassion Cards will be written and addressed following evening worship. See Don Deitrick for information on how to participate in this good work. ~~ ALL EVENTS ARE LISTED ON THE EVENTS CALENDAR ~~ ** EVENTS HAPPENING HERE AT CENTRAL ** -November 21: Morning Ladies’ Class @ 10am in the multi-purpose room. The class will be studying “Intriguing Men of the Bible.” This is a multi-week class. -November 23: Ladies Brunch at Toni Morrow’s home. This will be at 9:45am. See Toni for more information. -November 27: Devotional in the auditorium in lieu of mid-week Bible classes. -December 1: Ladies’ Meeting after evening services in the auditorium. -December 5: FBI Presentation regarding active shooters, internet predators and human trafficking. This is limited to those 18 years of age and older per the FBI. This presentation will take place in the auditorium beginning at 6pm. -December 6: Parents’ Night Out – Christmas Edition. See Elizabeth Pheasant for more details. Please RSVP by December 4. -December 8: Fellowship Meal honoring elders, deacons, preachers and their wives following morning worship. -December 25: Devotional in the auditorium in lieu of mid-week Bible classes. -May 2-4, 2025: Spring Meeting with Eric Lyons, Executive Director of Apologetics Press. -September 13-14, 2025: Area-Wide Youth Rally with Keynote Speaker David Shannon, President of Freed-Hardeman University. ***EVENTS HAPPENING AWAY FROM CENTRAL*** -February 22, 2025: Men’s Day at Catoctin.
