CURRENT REQUESTS: -Pray for the leaders of our nation (local and national) as well as all world leaders. -Florence Birmingham will be receiving iron infusions for the next four weeks along with medical tests in the near future. 5/6/2026 -Emory, Elisabeth Taylor’s 2 year old niece, is scheduled to have her tonsils & adenoids removed on My 7. She will also have her epiglottis reshaped. 5/5/2026 -Walter, Elisabeth Taylor’s 5 month old nephew, will have open heart surgery on May 15. 5/5/2026 -Carol Garland is dealing with infection and bone issues in her mouth as a result of chemo treatments. 5/4/2026 -Jennie Garland is dealing with pain in her shoulder. 5/4/2026-Steve Hershberger, minister for the Cumberland, Md congregation, had hip replacement surgery on May 4. He is now home recovering. 5/4/2026
-Maryann Tanis had an MRI on May 3 due to recent onset of severe headaches. 5/3/2026 -Rachel Jewell, Jim & Michele’s daughter-in-law, is dealing with a bad gallbladder due to recent chemo treatments. She will be receiving radiation treatments soon. 4/29/2026 –Greg Lantz is dealing with side effects of his new medication and received an iron infusion on April 22. He received another medication infusion on April 27 and is also on two antibiotics for an infection. 4/29/2026 -Ayla Hogan, friend of the Bennet’s, will have surgery for thyroid cancer on May 11. 4/29/2026 -Nancy Leasor is still dealing with long-term effects of chemo treatments. 4/29/2026
DEALING WITH CANCER: -Rachel Jewell, Jim & Michele Jewell’s daughter-in-law, breast cancer. 4/29/2026 -Albert Farley, Elisabeth Taylor’s dad, liver cancer. 3/4/2026 -Larry Landis, Nina Fazenbaker’s neighbor, was recently diagnosed with cancer. 3/3/2026 -Bobby Williams, friend of the Housley’s, bone cancer. 2/16/2026 -Jim Mills, friend of the Bennett’s, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. 1/30/2026 -Ayla Hogan, friend of the Bennett’s, diagnosed with thyroid cancer. 1/23/2026 -Donna Wright, Aaron Wright’s stepmother, recently diagnosed with lung cancer. 1/4/2026 -Clifton Williams, friend of Theresa Sage, diagnosed with cancer. 12/30/2025 -Carol Garland is undergoing treatments for metastatic cancer. 11/26/2025
